Literature Text

For Ezekiel, considering that he would still be in his feral form, he'd also be corrupted during the early stages of the corruption but not to the same extent as the average zombie. His mind would relatively be the same as it was when he was feral but his strength, speed and acid powers would greatly improve from the new zombie corruption. This newfound power of his will make him a target of the Supreme One as they would try to capture Ezekiel and make him a part of their experiments.

Regarding Eva, she would originally be in one of the secondary survivor groups as a second in command/muscle woman. Her brute strength and swift actions have great use for her during battle but she’s always on edge and it’s hard for her to interact with the other survivors of her group. Her heart is always in the right place as she would make the effort to save the others from close calls against the zombie hordes, even if she berates them for almost getting themselves killed. She prefers to use her bare hands when fighting with the undead though if given a weapon, she’d prefer something blunt like a giant hammer.

Noah also survives thanks to his intelligence and common sense despite him lacking any combat skills. He wouldn’t go out on retrieval missions for supplies and would stay in the main survivor camp as a thinker helping the group when they make important decisions. Though he'd mainly play the role of devil's advocate in pointing out how a scenario/decision could turn out terrible and making them figure out how to improve it. Despite his cynicism, he's still a valuable member of the camp.

For Justin, he wouldn't survive at all. I see him as one of the first victims of the corruption when it first breaks out. So his symptoms would start out small before changing his whole body. He would slowly lose his mind to both the corruption taking effect aswell as his critical view of how he's becoming an ugly monster. In due time, he becomes of the first zombies of the corruption.

The same can be said for Katie and Sadie as both girls would develop the corruption early on and can feel themselves giving in to the corrupting force. This is made even worse by the fact that they’re watching each other turn into a twisted monster. As an act of kindness and mercy, they decide to kill each other so that they can continue to be BFFFLs away from this nightmare.

Regarding Tyler and Lindsay, although they do their best to survive, it unfortunately doesn't end well for them. Tyler is sadly incompetent in anything athletic so any attempts for him to fight the hordes would end in failure and Lindsay, as sweet as she is, wouldn't know the first thing to do when it comes to survival. It gets to the point where one of them ends up being bitten and not wanting to go alone, their partner would be corrupted as well so they can at least die together.

For Cody, he'd be one of the thinkers of the group. He would help organize how food should be rationed along with overseeing the construction of barriers and houses. Most of the main camp's early development is thanks to his planning. While his strength would be in his intellect, it doesn't end well for him for his lack of fighting skills. During one of Scott's attacks on the camp, he releases a horde of zombies onto the camp zone and Cody ends up being one of the victims. The remaining group holds a funeral for him and the other victims remembering what he and the others have done for their survival.

Beth I can see surviving too. It is because of her compassion and understanding that most of the survivors would be inclined to help her and allow her to partake in the group. Her main duty would be border patrol where she would keep vigilance over the perimeter to make sure there aren’t any upcoming zombie hordes making their way to the camp. Her primary weapon would be a mix of torches and gasoline/cocktail bombs.

Courtney would survive but would have a difficult time doing so. She's a capable fighter and can use any type of weapon to fend off the undead; her favorite weapons would be a clip knife. But her degrading remarks and unwillingness to comply with the group decisions make it hard for her to work well with the main camp. After some heated discussions, she sees it better if she were just on her own. Although Gwen would try to reason with her, Courtney would at least be glad that she still sees her as a friend after everything. So she takes the lone wolf path and makes her way across the wilderness with hopes of finding a way to save herself. On occasion, the Supreme One would meet up with her trying to convince her to join their group and strike back at the other members. But Courtney would always refuse, preferring to avoid anything involving them. Plus she doesn't really trust the Supreme One at all.

As for Harold, he would survive for a good while but he'd probably end up getting killed. His combat skills are decent so he'd be able to fend off the undead. But he can get too cocky and arrogant around other survivors, thinking that they're group decisions are wrong and need work. There would be alot of unnecessary fighting in the survivor groups especially from the main leaders and planners. If not from them, he'd be killed by his own arrogance when he makes a misstep during a retrieval mission and ends up being bitten by the undead. His main weapons would be his nun chucks and ninja stars. Although he actually would go back to the zombies he chucked them at to get them before leaving, making them somewhat useless.

Okay, so regarding Trent, he has a pretty good chance at survival. He's fairly level headed and would have good judgement skills and he'd be good at foraging food and helping build shelters. At the main camp, his main job would be to keep maintenance of any vehicles they have along with raising the spirits of his fellow survivors with guitar songs and stories. Sometimes he would even perform alongside Ella. While he’s normally a chill person, especially during this apocalypse, he would get into heated conflict with some of the more difficult survivors such as Duncan or Heather. Aside from this, he and Gwen are now on good terms and can rely on each other over all the drama going on in their lives. Just like the good days. Although he doesn't engage in much fighting, his weapon would be a handgun.

I’m sorry to say this, but regarding DJ, this will be one of the worst moments of his life. Having to live in this nightmare world seeing his friends and loved ones be killed or corrupted would ruin his mental health. He'd last only for a few days being able to tolerate all these drastic changes. But it'll soon go to a point where it becomes too much for him and he'll enter a state of shock. He'll be unresponsive to the world around him. He'd hardly eat. He wouldn't leave a given spot unless someone helped him move. He'd be something of a load for most of the survivors with only a few of his friends, such as Geoff, Gwen, Leshawna or Trent, who would be willing to tolerate his new state. If he were to be separated from his friends, well....at least he wouldn't have to suffer for much longer.

Izzy’s survival record would also be impeccable because of her wild nature. She's also another anarchist type only more friendlily towards the main group. She joins them on occasion but she comes and goes as she pleases. She also tries to befriend some of the zombies while keeping safe and avoiding being bitten by them. On her downtime, she likes to experiment with weapons for fun but has never once used said weapons on her zombie buddies. Sometimes she sells her stuff to the survivor groups for odd prices. Like 3 machine guns for a bag of squirrels. Or a truck for all their socks. It confuses them but who are they to say no? Her most treasured weapon of choice is a flamethrower.

Bridgette and Geoff would have a 50/50 chance of survival. They would do their best to stay with the main group and help out in retrieval missions but they don't really have the best skills to survive on their own. For the most part, they would have main jobs at the survivor camp. Bridgette would help out Dawn and Rodney with the gardens to make nutritional food for the group and Geoff would be a peacemaker/negotiator whenever the main group interacts with other groups during retrieval missions. They would survive only if they stayed with a group. If they wound up on their own, there's a high chance of one of them dying. There’s also a high chance of one sacrificing themselves for the other.

Leshawna has a fair chance of survival because of her athletic skill and her willingness to work with others, even if they involve old enemies. Although she dislikes it, she’s designated as a leader during retrieval missions as her street smarts would allow her to figure out which supplies to look for when scouting deserted cities and how she can keep her fellow survivors in line and safe during each mission run. Her weapon of choice would be an AR-15.

For Duncan, he'd love the new world order because of how free he'd be. He'd live the life of an anarchist during anything he wants. This includes killing off hordes, working on vehicles, experimenting with new weapons, whatever he wants to do. He prefers to be alone and only becomes involved with the main group because of Gwen but he would still get into conflict with the other members for various reasons. Even despite that, he proves to be a powerful fighter and a great mechanic. His favorite weapons will be the chainsaw and homemade grenades.

And for Heather, she's able to survive thanks to her quick thinking and ability to learn new skills. The only serious problem is that her past conflicts with the other survivors would hinder any progress for the camp’s survival. It takes getting used to her working alongside them for the sake of survival rather than prize money and Alejandro usually is the one to pull her back and remind her of this. She'd mainly be involved in retrieval missions and her weapon of choice would be gloves with sharp knives attached on the top.

Gwen will have a great chance of survival aswell. This is because I see her character is similar to that of the Final Girl from horror movies and they always have a great survival record. She's level-headed and quick to react so she'd be able to fight back. Despite coming off as a loner, she'd actually be pretty open in helping her friends with their emotional issues. Having them talk about it and how they can get better from it; she’d be something like a therapist for them. Though of course she'd experience her own trauma whenever she sees her closest friends die or turn traitor. Nevertheless, she'd do what she can to move on and survive the new world order. Her main weapon would be a hatchet.

Regarding Owen, he originally would survive the apocalypse by relying heavily on his friends for support but it’s because of his overreliance on them that he ends up becoming a load for them. This includes him eating up nearly all of the food rations, accidentally breaking the makeshift shelters or barriers, chickening out during zombie fighting etc. While everyone’s upset over Owen’s inability to offer any help, they can’t find it in their hearts to yell at him. But they make it clear that Owen is being of no help at all, and he himself knows this to be true. Unfortunately for everyone, during an attack on the camp, Owen finds himself kidnapped by a mysterious group and taken away from his friends. This would be the last time he would see his friends again before he comes back as something much worse.

I think for Sierra she would survive thanks to her ability to gain intel on any local areas for supplies but she would be hindered due to her obsessive love for Cody. During retrieval missions she’d annoy everyone with her insistent love for the nerd and how after the apocalypse they’ll start a big family to repopulate the Earth and make the other survivors honorary family members. But after Cody’s death, she becomes unhinged and mentally unstable as her one true love is gone forever. The other survivors have to keep a close eye on her to keep her from doing something very unreasonable while the other difficult members would see it better if she just died to be with her beloved. They end up eating those words when the survivors turn their back on her for a while and she ends up committing the dark deed.

And finally for Alejandro, his jack of all trades skill set would be greatly beneficial in survival, fending off the undead and planning out major group decisions. Many would be untrusting of him because of his bad history, but Alejandro continues to claim that he has no reason to betray them because there is nothing to be gained from backstabbing potential allies. Also he would prefer to work directly with the main leaders of the group in decision making as he can’t help but have a bit of power in the group dynamic and look down at the survivors who are lower in the group system. His main weapon would be an officer’s sword he was lucky enough to find in the ruins; he tries to be majestic and graceful when fighting the hordes.

Hey everybody. So I’m sure that many of you are more than familiar with my frequent journals asking for ideas on the TD Zombie Apocalypse AU. So after a bit of thinking, and a subtle lack of responses, I decided to do the rest of the characters. While also describing the roles/actions of the characters that weren’t asked for, I’ll also include the responses of characters that have been asked. I’ll be going one generation at a time for each journal. Hope you guys enjoy it!

And if you have any thoughts on any of these characters or their roles, feel free to let me know in the comments below.
